Media Hive will take place at the new Santa Fe Complex location at 1807 Second Street, Unit 107. The workshop will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the performance will start at 9 p.m. Admission to the workshop and performance is $10. Admission to the performance alone is $5. The first Media Hive will feature invited guest Brian Mayhall of D Numbers and will take place 7 pm to 11 pm, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the new Santa Fe Complex location at 1807 Second Street, Unit 107. The workshop will be from 7 – 8 and the performance will be from 9 – 11. Admission to the workshop and performance is $10. Admission to the performance alone is $5.
For the workshop portion of the evening, Brian will be discussing and demonstrating his process for making music and the technology that he uses to do so. He will be making an effort to keep things understandable for beginners and the simply curious, but questions and interactions from attendees of all levels of experience are highly encouraged. After a break he will take the stage to perform.

After a long wait and much planning, Media Hive will launch Saturday, December 17, 2011.
Media Hive is is a forum for those interested in sharing information and experience related to media and interdisciplinary arts including audio, video, dance, and visual art. For a full description, be sure and check out the ABOUT page.
One of the main activities of Media Hive will be a collaborative workshop / performance happening at Santa Fe Complex on the third Saturday of each month and the first Media Hive will feature invited guest Brian Mayhall of D Numbers.
