Many people have said that they find the new MySFCC website difficult or confusing to use when signing up for a class. Here are some step-by-step screenshots to make it easier. I’m just putting this up as a public service – some details may change from semester to semester. If you have questions about the enrollment process or feel you need some help call one of these numbers:

Welcome and Advising Center: 505.428.1270

Helpdesk (for website issues): 505-428-1222

Visit https://www.sfcc.edu and click on the MySFCC Login link.

Fill in your Username (first.last) and Password and click the LOGIN button. If you need to reset your Password and you have set up your secret questions, you can click the Reset Password link. If you haven’t set up the questions you can reset your password by calling 505-428-1222.

Click on the Registration / Add or Drop button. Do NOT click on the Schedule Builder. If you add classes through the Schedule Builder and stop there, it will look like you have signed up for classes but you haven’t. Just avoid it.

Click the Add or Drop Classes link. (Like I said above, avoid the Schedule Builder. Don’t click on it.)

Select the upcoming term from the dropdown menu and click the Submit button.

Enter the CRN number(s) for your class(es) and click the Submit Changes button. The CRN numbers for the Fall 2021 Audio Classes are: Audio Production 1 = CRN 20422 / Intro to Reason and Live = CRN 20421 / Sound Design for Film = 20250. If you need to find the CRN number for another class, click here, pick the Credit Term and Credit Subject from the dropdown menus and click the Look Up button.

The page will re-load showing that you are enrolled. Now you need to pay. If you don’t pay (or make a payment agreement with the Cashier’s Office) you will eventually be dropped. In order to get to the payment page, click the View Account Balance link.

At the bottom of the page, you will see your balance. Click the Bills and Payments button to proceed.

You will be forwarded to another site to complete payment. From here on out, it’s not so confusing except…

You’ll see one more page before you put in your payment Method. Make sure you check the box indicating the term you’re paying for and then click the Continue button.
